I use flowers, fruits, and other natural elements as surrogate mediums for the body, exploring bodily experiences that are hard to articulate but deeply rooted in touch and memory. Rather than reproducing a complete human form, I focus on the sensuous imagery found in the splitting, flowing, and folding of natural objects. These forms are ambiguous, ungendered, and not dependent on the gaze, yet they hold a tender and complex erotic resonance. My work is inspired by the details of concealment and partial exposure in ancient Greek imagery, as well as by the sense of sensory disorientation found in the "Hall of the Giants" at Palazzo Te, where divine bodies collapse and proportions lose balance.
